On the way home from Whale World yesterday, we stopped in at The Gap and The Natural Bridge, which are amazing natural rock formations blasted out by the Southern Ocean (located in Torndirrup National Park).
The kids love going here, especially when the sea is rough, as it can be quite spectacular at times.
It is well worth a look if you are in the area and we often stop in to see if it is a good day at The Gap.
You have to stand in a cage to look into The Gap as it can be very dangerous. When we were there yesterday, our car was getting salt spray on it in the carpark, and we got splashed as we stood in the cage.
Okay, brrr... had enough getting blasted... over to The Natural Bridge (about 100 metres away).
And here it is...
Back to the car before we all freeze...
On the way home we had to stop in at the car wash to wash off all the salt spray. Our kids love the carwash and think it is a fun family activity!
Of course we have to choose the deluxe wash with the tricolour polish when the kids are in the car... I think they just make it pretty so the kids will beg their parents to get the deluxe wash!
For some strange reason yesterday there were only 2 colours instead of three and the blue was missing... ripped off! The kids still thought it was fun.
