Princess Tea Party

Well the party was today, and it was so lovely!

Miss Charlotte is now 6 and we celebrated in style with 4 of her friends from school. Goodness... sooo different from a 6 year old boys party!

The girls had a colouring competition, followed by pass the parcel and musical bobs then a lovely tea party.

The teapot was filled with lemonade and they all had great fun pouring their own "tea" into pretty china teacups.

I cannot take credit for the amazing cake! It was made for Charlotte by her Grandma. The cake was so beautiful and so yummy (white chocolate mudcake).

Afterwards they all had a little play in the playroom which mostly involved cooking on the little toy stove and playing with the dolls house.

When Michael got back with the three boys, we sang Happy Birthday and had the cake!

Oh, and I managed to get a few photos of the birthday girl earlier (the book is the first in a series of princess books called the Tiara Club, of which the first book happened to conveniently be Princess Charlotte).
